6 kids hurt in drum explosion

Seven persons, including six children, were injured when a drum containing chemicals exploded outside a printing press at Okhla on Monday.
They were burning waste material outside a press at 9 am to beat the winter chill when the incident happened. Two fire tenders were rushed to the spot to douse the fire.
The injured have been identified as Subhash, a security guard, Vijay, 9, Neelam, 9, Ankush, 11, Babli, 11, Samar, 10, and Jatin 12. Neelam suffered 60 per cent burns while Ankush and Vijay suffered 55 per cent burns.
