75-yr-old found dead in Kalkaji

The body of a 75-year-old man was found dead in his house at Kalkaji in southeast Delhi on Thursday. The police is not suspecting any foul play. According to the police, the body of Ramprakash Sehgal, a resident of Vaishali Apartments in Kalkaji Extension, was discovered around 2 pm. Mr Sehgal’s neighbour, Ravi Kumar, noticed that

the door to his house was not locked. When he went inside, he saw Mr Sehgal lying on the floor in one of the rooms. He had bled through his ears and nose.
Preliminary investigations revealed that Mr Sehgal used to stay alone. While his two sons are in the United States, his wife had died four years ago. He was also a patient of high blood pressure. So far, the police is not suspecting any foul play.
However, the body has been sent for post-mortem and a formal case will be lodged if something untoward comes up in the report, said a police officer.
