BJP says govt a failure during 13 yrs in office

The Congress government in the city completed its third year on December 16. Leader of the Opposition in Delhi Assembly Prof. Vijay Kumar Malhotra slammed the Delhi government for its failures on various fronts during its 13 years of rule.

“This government did not meet any of the promises made during the elections. The CAG has alleged that almost all departments of this government were involved in corruption during the Commonwealth Games 2010. The Lokayukta, high court and Supreme Court slammed the government many times,” Prof. Malhotra said.
He said that the government was ruthless on the poor as rates of transport, electricity, and water have been hiked by three- to ten-folds.
Slamming the government on the fake provisional certificates issue he said that none of the unauthorised colonies have been regularised yet and because of this fraud the government has wasted around `1,000 crores.
