Body of youth found in bag
The body of a 20-year-old vendor was found in a bag near an MCD school in Dwarka area of southwest Delhi.
The police said the deceased has been identified as Bablu, a native of Uttar Pradesh, a fruit vendor. Babloo was putting up with his four friends in a rented room in Kakrola village in Sector 12, Dwarka.
The incident came to light when the residents of Kakrola village spotted a bag with blood dripping from it in a vacant plot near an MCD school.
The locals opened the bag and found the body after which they called the police control room. A team of cops arrived and the body was identified as that of Bablu.
The police has sent the body for a post-mortem to Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital. “It appears he was bludgeoned to death and his head was later severed to hide his identification. We have detained his four friends and they are being questioned,” a senior police official said.
The police had recovered the body of a young girl from the same sector in Dwarka on New Year’s day. \
The victim was raped and later murdered by unidentified assailants. No arrests have been made so far in the case. The police had questioned the friends and some bad characters of the area but no breakthrough has been made so far.
