Book on Left politics in Bengal

A book on Left politics, Left Politics in Bengal-Time Travels among Bhadrolok Marxists, authored by senior journalist Monobina Gupta, was released in the city on Thursday.

The discussion was moderated by senior journalist Pranajoy Guha Thakurta. The panelists were Aditya Nigam, Neerja Chowdhury and Diptosh Majumder. Senior fellow, Centre for the Study of Developing Societies, Mr Yogendra Yadav, was the special invitee. The discussion focused on Left parties, forthcoming Assembly elections and the flawed land acquisition policy.
