Call girl racket busted, foreigners held
The Delhi police has arrested six people, including five Uzbek women, for running a sex racket in south Delhi.
The accused were arrested following a tip-off that a call girl racket was being run from Uday Park area in south Delhi. The police said the mobile number of the pimp was identified and a decoy customer was sent on Wednesday to Uday Park along with a police cover following which the arrested were made.
“The woman pimp demanded a payment of Rs 30,000 to Rs 50,000 per girl for one night. A deal was struck and a part of the payment was made to the woman. She then took the ‘customer’ inside the house on the first floor from where the racket was being operated. We immediately got a message from the ‘customer’ and a raid was conducted in which four girls and the woman pimp were apprehended. All five are from Uzbekistan,” DCP (crime) Ashok Chand said.
“The woman pimp has been staying in India for the last two years on a multiple entry visa and she has a selected clientele in different areas of south Delhi. She has been shifting her base frequently to avoid detection and was staying in Uday Park for the last six months and it cost her Rs 35,000 per month,” DCP Chand said.
“All the girls stay with her and they are earnings lakhs of rupees per month. They entertain new client only when provided with the reference of a trusted client. The girls come to India on a tourist visa,” DCP Ashok Chand said.
