Cong MLAs corner Walia over issue

With no Opposition MLAs in the House, the Congress legislators cornered Delhi health minister Kiran Walia on the issue of welfare measures not reaching out to the widows in the capital. Also, the Delhi Assembly on Monday passed a resolution seeking withdrawal of notices issued by the MCD for house tax in the 1,639 unauthorised

colonies. On the fourth day of the Winter Session, the Delhi Assembly finally took the Question Hour in the absence of the Opposition BJP, which has been expelled till Tuesday.
However, the Congress MLAs cornered Ms Walia for delay in disbursal of the welfare measures to the widows.
