Cop arrested taking bribe

A Delhi police sub-inspector has been arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation for allegedly accepting a bribe of `90,000 from a man on the promise of “settling his case”.
According to CBI sources, SI Mahipal Singh, posted with Paschim Vihar police station in west Delhi, was caught red-handed on Friday evening while accepting the “first instalment of the bribe” from the complainant. Sources said that the accused had demanded `30 lakhs for settling two cases related to abusing a person.
