Councillor robbed of gold chain
An MCD councillor was robbed of his gold chain by three armed men in Outer Delhi on Sunday morning, the police said.
Ashwini Ahuja, the councillor, was robbed in Mahendra Park locality when he was returning to his residence after a morning walk, they said.
“The three men armed with knives intercepted and snatched his chain. When Ahuja raised alarm, they attacked him,” a senior police official said.
Ahuja suffered minor injuries on his hand in the incident.
A case has been registered and investigations are on to nab the culprits in the case.

Mutilated body found on rail track
New Delhi, Oct. 17: Mutilated body of a 22-year-old man has been found on railway tracks in north-east Delhi, the police said on Sunday.
The body of the deceased, identified as Anuj Jain, was found on railway tracks in Seelampur on Saturday, the police said, adding the incident came to light when locals spotted it near the tracks.
The victim was employed at a private firm dealing with computerised embroidery.
A senior police official said that Anuj’s father Sushil had on October 15 approached the police after his son went missing.
Sushil was informed and he later identified the body, they said. —PTI
