Court judgment on Sharma reserved

After hearing the arguments from both the counsel of the defence as well as the prosecution, a division bench of the Delhi high court comprising Justices B.D. Ahmed and Manmohan Singh on Tuesday reserved the judgment.

The HC was hearing the appeal of former senior IPS officer R.K. Sharma and three others, serving life sentence, against their conviction for having journalist Shivani Bhatnagar killed in more than a decade ago. Shivani was murdered in her flat in IP Extension on January 2, 1999.
