DDA scheme forms on sale from today
Expecting huge rush of applicants for its mega-housing scheme offering nearly 16,000 flats, which will be launched on Thursday, the DDA has got more than 10 lakh forms and brochures printed. While this is double of what was done for the 2008 scheme, arrangements are also in place for getting more forms and brochures printed at a very short notice.
According to a DDA official, there will be no stage where people would experience shortage of forms and brochures. The scheme will close on December 24.
The DDA is hoping that with the distribution of forms, which will cost `105 each, being done through various banks, there would not be a situation where people gather in large numbers at its headquarters on Vikas Sadan. The banks, which will be selling the forms, include State Bank of India, Central Bank of India and IDBI, besides a few others. The forms will be available during the banking hours.
