Delhi MP claims his car stolen

West Delhi MP Mahabal Mishra on Saturday alleged that his car was stolen and the driver was assaulted by four unidentified men in the Dabri area. While the driver Hari Mohan was rushed to a nearby hospital after the incident, an FIR in the case was registered at the Dwarka (north) police station.

According to the investigating officers, the white Ford Endeavour vehicle which belonged to Mr Mishra got punctured near Dwarka late on Friday when the MP’s son Vinay Mishra was returning home from a sports complex, where he had gone for training.
“Vinay left the car with the driver and went away,” said the police.
“The complainants in the FIR have stated that four unidentified men brandishing guns took Hari Mohan on gunpoint and forced him in the car,” added the police officers. Mohan was later dumped in the Jharauda area of Najafgarh.
