DND toll rate hike reversed

The Noida Toll Bridge Company Limited (NTBCL) has reportedly decided to roll back the hike in toll rates on DND flyway after Noida Authority officials issued a stern warning. The company had implemented new rates early this week without approval. The CEO of Noida Authority, Rama Raman, said that NTBCL has informed it about

taking back the rate hike. “They have told us that they would charge as per the original tariff structure. We have asked them to submit the proposal for a hike again before the (Noida) authority, on which we would contemplate,” said Mr Raman.
On Wednesday. Noida Authority officials had gone to seal the site office alleging violation of rules.
