Conman held for extortion in cop’s guise
New Delhi, March 19: A man allegedly extorting money by posing as a police officer was arrested in west Delhi, the police said on Saturday.
The arrested man has been identified as Viresh. He was apprehended from Subhash Nagar on Friday while he was in police uniform.
“After parking his scooter, Viresh accused Deepak, the complainant, of being drunk and started demanding money to release him. Deepak recognised him as he had taken money from him on the same allegations earlier too,” a senior police official said. Deepak then made a call to the police which arrested him.
“He revealed that he used to extort money introducing himself as a police officer,” the official said. PTI

I want to begin with a little story that was told to me by a leading executive at Aptech. He was exercising in a gym with a lot of younger people.

Shekhar Kapur’s Bandit Queen didn’t make the cut. Neither did Shaji Karun’s Piravi, which bagged 31 international awards.
