DU hardens stand on semester system

The Delhi University registrar has issued a circular saying that the teachers will have to submit an undertaking pled-ging that they will teach in semester mode or else face disciplinary action.

“In case they do not submit the undertaking, their salary for September shall not be released and pay and allowances paid since July 21 shall be recovered,” the circular warned. It reiterated that the staff should stop calling strike or else no work no pay principle will be followed.
