Engineer shot at in E. Delhi

A 42-year-old engineer was shot at in Mayur Vihar on Monday.
The victim, Sunil Kumar, who works with NBCC as a civil engineer, was leaving for his office on Monday when an assailant fired four shots at him for allegedly resisting robbery attempt. The incident took place outside SSS apartments in Mayur Vihar, Phase III, at 10 am, the police said.

“Kumar had kept his laptop in his car and was about to get in when an assailant appeared. The assailant took out a revolver and shot four bullets at Kumar. Two bullets hit his left hand while one grazed his chest. One bullet went astray,” a police official said.
Kumar was rushed to Metro Hospital in Noida and is said to be out of danger.
