Firm complains of malicious emails

A consular service facilitation company has approached the Delhi police seeking its help to find a suspect who has made defamatory allegations against it in malicious emails sent to Prince Faisal of Saudi Arabia and United Kingdom Border Agency among the other clients of the firm.
Police sources disclosed that a case under the Information Technology Act was registered by the economic offences wing of crime branch on Wednesday after a complaint was lodged by VFS Global Services Pvt Ltd stating that an unknown person had sent emails to Prince Faisal of Saudi Arabia and UK’s Border Agency among its other clients across the globe in which defamatory allegations have been made against it.
“The alleged mails have been sent from a Google account (mandysarkar72@gmail.com) on March 1 and March 2 to several individuals and business associates of the company. On March 11, another email was sent from paras.dvgiri@gmail.com to these individuals. Two more mails were sent on March 17 from the mail ID santo.dvgiri@gmail.com and on March 24 from yasiraljazeer@gmail.com,” a source further disclosed.
Brig (Retd) Mukesh Bawa, who heads the corporate security unit of the company, has lodged the complaint with the Delhi police.
“The repetitive allegations being made against the firm are entirely false, malicious and are being sent with the sole intent of bringing disrepute to VFS, to reduce our credibility and adversely impact our business,” he said.
The company exclusively serves diplomatic missions and immigration authorities to facilitate the visa application procedures across the world.
The company had run into trouble in May 2007 when it was reported that its online UK visa application system was flawed and insecure, allowing applicants’ identities to be stolen which had affected online applications from India, Nigeria and Russia.

I want to begin with a little story that was told to me by a leading executive at Aptech. He was exercising in a gym with a lot of younger people.
