Glitch hits Dwarka Metro line
The Delhi Metro passengers had a tough time once again when a overcrowded train on Noida-Dwarka line was delayed by 30 minutes due to technical glitches in morning peak hour.
“There was an interlocking problem at the Dwarka Sector-21 station resulting in loss of train identification numbers at around 8.15 am.,” Delhi Metro spokesperson said.
The passengers complained that the train was delayed for nearly an hour and there was no announcement about the delay or the cause.
Technical glitches on Metro network have become common and this is the fourth incident in the last 13 days.
On November 19, train services on the Gurgaon line were delayed for over four hours due to a glitch in the Over-Head Electrification (OHE) system.
On November 28, the line witnessed service disruption for over an hour.
