Guard opens fire, no casualty
A violent scuffle broke out during a marriage ceremony at a resort in South Delhi’s Mehrauli area on Wednesday evening with the security guard of a businessman opening fire. No one was injured in the incident.
Police sources said the incident took place at around 10.30 pm when an argument broke out between the personal security officer of a Defence Colony-based businessman and the driver of a BJP leader who had come to attend the marriage function in the parking lot of the resort.
The argument soon turned violent and the PSO identified as Sachinder Kumar opened fire.
In the meantime, the guests attending the function heard the gunshots and rushed to the spot and found out the two engaged in a verbal duel.
