HC: Disclose detail results of prelims ’10
The Delhi high court has directed the Union Public Service Commission to disclose the cut-off marks in the civil services preliminary examination 2010.
While allowing the plea of a group of successful students, whose request for detailed results in the preliminary examination 2010 was turned own by the UPSC, Justice S. Muralidhar said, “No prejudice whatsoever would be caused to any of those qualified candidates or to the UPSC, if the complete result of the qualified candidates with their roll numbers are disclosed. Further it would be in the public interest to do so.”
The court, however, allowed the commission not to disclose the marks to unsuccessful candidates, the raw marks if they were not available with it.
