Help held for E. Delhi killing
With the arrest of a 30-year-old man, the Delhi police on Saturday claimed to have solved the murder case of a senior citizen in East Vinod Nagar area of east Delhi.
The accused, Hira Lal, who worked as a domestic help of the deceased Jagan Singh was apprehended from a bus stop in Badayun, UP. A special Delhi police team was dispatched to Badayun following a tip off on Hira Lal’s whereabouts. Hira Lal, who was brought to Delhi on Saturday, confessed to killing Jagan. “Hira Lal has revealed that he was asked by his employer to get some medicine from a nearby pharmacy. He killed Jagan when he scolded him for bringing the wrong medicine,” said the police.
Police officers added Hira Lal hit his employer with an iron rod repeatedly to kill him. The police also claimed to have recovered the iron rod. Meanwhile, police has also recovered a mobile phone and wrist watch from Hira Lal’s possession.
Jagan’s body was found lying in a pool of blood by his adopted son, Tushar Chauhan, who lives in Sector 66, Noida.
The FIR of the case is registered at the Kalyanpuri police station.
