IGI: 2 women held with drugs
Two South African women have been arrested by anti-narcotics sleuths for allegedly smuggling 78 kgs of popular party drugs from the Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) here. The duo were intercepted by CISF personnel late on Saturday night when the women, identified as Bulayi Nthabiseng Josephin (42) and Mkhaliphe Grace Bongiw (41), came to the airport and were scheduled to travel to Nairobi.
Josephin, according to security officials, was intercepted after her activities were found suspicious and when her bag was searched, 41kgs of popular party drug Pseudoephiderine was recovered. “This lady led CISF sleuths to the second woman Bongiw who was also present at the airport and was to board the same flight,” a senior officer said.

8 prisoners hurt in clash inside Tihar
New Delhi: Eight prisoners in high security Tihar jail here were on Sunday injured in a clash between two groups, jail officials said. “Two groups of inmates, mostly repeat offenders who were lodged in jail number 3, had a fight on Sunday during the day,” said Tihar Jail spokesperson Sunil Gupta. Eight persons sustained injuries and were rushed to the Deen Dayal Upadhayay hospital, he said.
He said the two groups clashed for establishing supremacy. Most of these prisoners had been in jail for committing offences repeatedly, he added.

Girl, 5, sexually assaulted by teen
New Delhi: A five-year-old girl was sexually assaulted by a teenager boy residing in her neighbourhood, the police said on Sunday.
The 16-year-old boy was taken into custody from his house in Aman Vihar area of West Delhi after the assault was confirmed in the medical report of the victim.
“The minor girl was alone at her home when the accused barged and sexually assaulted her and fled the spot on Saturday evening.
“The girl later informed her father,” said a senior police officer.
