Khan Market case: Fresh autopsy today
A team of forensic experts on Wednesday visited the site of accident in Khan Market which resulted in the death of Rajeev Jolly Wilson, a restaurant manager, with the Delhi police awaiting results of a fresh autopsy to be conducted on Thursday by a panel of doctors to ascertain the nature of injuries of the deceased.
The accused, Vikas Aggarwal, got bail from the Tughlaq Road police station on Wednesday. “Fresh charges will be pressed against the accused if it is established that the deceased was run over repeatedly as is being alleged by his family members,” a police official said.
The family members of the deceased, Rajeev Jolly Wilson, a manager at Amici cafe in upscale Khan Market, have alleged that police action was being influenced by some politicians. The accused’s father is reportedly a former law secretary.
