Kids with headphones mowed by train

Two school students were on Thursday crushed to death by a train at Kavi Nagar area here, the police said.

The incident occurred at around 9 am when the victims, identified as Kaushal and Atul, were unable to hear the approaching train as they had mobile headphones plugged in their ears, they said.
The victims, Class 9 and 11 students of a private school, where walking on the tracks.
The bodies have been sent for postmortem, they added. Meanwhile, a 7-year-old boy was caught while stealing a bag containing ornaments worth `10 lakh from a wedding party here on Wednesday night, police said. — PTI
