Man, 30, stabbed in rage incident
In another instance of rage over a trivial issue resulting in a murder, a 30-year-old shopkeeper was stabbed to death by two youth in his shop at Samaipur Badli in outer Delhi on Tuesday evening over a trivial issue.
The deceased, Mukesh Kumar, used to sell curd in Samaipur Badli market, the police said. The two accused, Naval Kishore, 19, and Nitin Aggarwal, both local residents, have been arrested by the police.
Investigation has revealed that Naval and Nitin had gone to the deceased’s shop at 9.30 pm to purchase curd. “They had an argument with Mukesh over the rate and then asked for all the curd, which irked Mukesh who asked them to stay away from his shop,” a police official said.
Kishore allegedly took out a sharp object and hit Mukesh repeatedly. “Mukesh was critically injured. He was rushed to Bhim Rao Ambedkar Hospital where doctors declared him brought dead,” the official said.
The locals nabbed the two accused. “A case of murder has been registered and the weapon used has been seized,” the official said.
