Man held for helping ISI agent
The Delhi police’s special cell on Friday arrested a 60-year-old man for allegedly helping an ISI agent in acquiring an Indian passport. The accused Nafees Ahmad, a resident of Lucknow, was also carrying a reward of Rs 25, 000 on his head.
Mr Ahmed, who managed to hoodwink police for last eight months, had allegedly helped Abdul Jabbar, believed to be a Pakistani national and an ISI agent, said the additional deputy commissioner (special cell) Shibesh Singh.
Mr Ahmed was arrested from near Patiala courts premises on July 19 when he came there to meet someone. Jabbar was apprehended earlier from IGI Airport while trying to flee to UAE. On a search, sensitive documents pertaining to Air Force were allegedly recovered from his possession.
