Man held for killing parents after dispute
The Delhi police has arrested a man who was wanted by Bihar police for allegedly murdering his parents in 2005.
“A police team was checking vehicles near Karol Bagh Metro Station when it noticed a man, later identified as Pramod Kumar, turn and flee. He was chased and caught,” DCP (central) Vivek Kishore said.
During investigations, it was learnt that Kumar was wanted for killing his father and mother in Gaya, “His parents had distributed the property among all his brothers but he was not given equal share as he was unmarried. This left him agitated and triggered a quarrel,” Mr Kishore said.
The police said the accused hatched a conspiracy with his elder brother Gopal Singh to murder the parents. His brother was arrested but he escaped.
