Man held for raping, killing 6-yr girl

One person has been arrested by the southwest Delhi police for allegedly kidnapping and killing the six-year-old daughter of an airport employee after raping her on Tuesday. The incident was reported from Palam area in southwest Delhi.

According to the police, an electrical maintenance worker at the domestic airport had reported on November 16 that her daughter had gone missing. A case was registered at the Palam Village police station in this regard.
The body of the girl was found in an open jungle behind a petrol pump at Sector-6 in Dwarka on November 18. Preliminary investigations revealed that one Bharat Kumar, living in a house opposite to that of the complainant, was also missing since the day of the incident. Following a tip-off, the police arrested Bharat Kumar from near Palam flyover in Manglapuri area late on Thursday night.
During interrogation, the accused Bharat Kumar, a driver in a travel agency, revealed that he had picked up the girl from near her house on the pretext of getting her toffees and then hired an autorickshaw to take her to a secluded spot behind the petrol pump in Sector-6, Dwarka. He first sexually assaulted her and then, fearing that she may disclose his identity later, held the girl by her hair and hit her against a stone as a result of which the girl died.
Bharat then came to his house and went off to sleep pretending that everything was normal. Next morning, he took a bus to the village of his grandparents in Laxmangarh, Alwar, Rajasthan and returned to Delhi on the night of November 18, when he was arrested. The police took him to Alwar for recovering his blood-stained pants, which he had kept at his maternal uncle’s house.

I want to begin with a little story that was told to me by a leading executive at Aptech. He was exercising in a gym with a lot of younger people.
