Man kills 4-year son to frame creditor friends
A businessman has been arrested by southwest Delhi police for allegedly killing his four-year-old son in an apparent bid to implicate his friends from whom he had borrowed money to the tune of `1.5 lakhs.
The police said Rahul, son of Rakesh, a resident of Najafgarh, had gone missing from outside his house on February 9. His body was found in a nearby drain. During initial investigations, Rakesh continued to point fingers at his friends accusing them of killing his son. However, the cops sensed something amiss when they came to know that the body was found after some of Rakesh’ acquaintances began working on “leads” given by him.
The police then interrogated Rakesh at length following which he allegedly confessed to having killed his own son.
Rakesh told the police that he was under a debt of around `1.5 lakhs and was not in a position to repay. He then hit upon the idea of killing his son and implicating his lenders in the case so that they would cease to demand money from him.
