Man pleads in HC: Son persecuted in pvt school
After hearing a father’s allegation that his son was allegedly humiliated and discriminated by a private school and no action has been taken against the school despite his complaint, Justice A.K. Pathak of the Delhi high court on Tuesday sought responses from the Centre, city government and the concerned school, the DAV Public School, Jasola Vihar.
The court also issued notices to the ministry of human resource development (HRD) and the directorate of education, Delhi, and sought their replies by March 24.
Filing a petition, one Amodh Shastri alleged that his son, a Class-7 student, has been facing humiliation as repeated incidents of the teacher beating his son completely frightened the child who has stopped going to school.
Mr Shastri further claimed in his petition that his son was beaten up continuously until blood started oozing from his mouth and a written apology was also taken from the child for his behaviour in the school.
No measures have been taken against the teacher even as he informed the school principal and the same humiliation and discrimination against his son continued, he claimed.
