Man stabs old couple in grudge

A senior citizen couple were allegedly stabbed by their ex domestic help after he was refused to be reemployed at their residence in Anand Vihar area.
The incident took place on Monday evening at around 4.10 pm in Pushpanjali Apartment area of Anand Vihar in east Delhi when the accused identified as Sameer a

pproached Ashok Gupta, 61, and his wife Indu Gupta, 60, for the job. The police said Sameer had been sacked from his job by the family after he was caught stealing money two months ago.
“On Monday evening at around 4, Sameer allegedly stabbed Ashok when he was refused entry into the household again. When Indu Gupta tried to prevent Sameer from causing more harm to her husband she was also stabbed and later fled the spot,” a police official said.
The police said Ashok Gupta lives with his wife Indu Gupta and his 90-year-old father.
Neighbours heard the cries of the couple and rushed the two to a nearby hospital where they are recuperating. “The accused is a notorious person and had already planned to cause harm to the couple, ” said the official.
