Metro to JLN Stadium hours before Games

The Delhi Metro’s Central Secretariat-Badarpur corridor, which provides connectivity to the main Games venue, will miss the deadline. However, it will be operational hours before the Commonwealth Games begins. Besides providing connectivity to JLN Stadium, the Metro will reach 10 of the 11 stadias.

The commissioner of Metro rail safety will inspect the line for two days beginning on Friday.
The 21-km line that connects Central Delhi with some of the densely-populated areas of south Delhi, close to Haryana border, has already missed its deadline and will reach only till Sarita Vihar only.
