Missing Class 2 boy found dead in neighbour’s cooler

A seven-year-old Class 2 student who was missing for the past two days was found dead under mysterious circumstances inside the cooler of his neighbour in Gokulpuri area of northeast Delhi.
A senior police official said they received a PCR call at around 11.05 am that a dead body of a boy was lying inside a cooler in a house at Ganga Vihar. The police official said the deceased boy was identified as Sahil. “The body did not bear any injury marks. Only autopsy can reveal the exact cause of his death. Sahil went missing since Saturday evening,” said the police official.
The official further said that the boy’s mother Shahnaz, who runs a beauty parlour in the area, had lodged a complaint of his going missing with the police.
On Monday the neighbour discovered Sahil’s body in his cooler and called the police. The police officials said they suspect that the boy was killed and his body was concealed later in the cooler. The police has recorded the statements of the family members, neighbous and relatives of the deceased in this respect.
