Mosque razing: HC seeks DDA reply on plea

The Delhi high court on Monday sought the response of the DDA by March 1 after hearing the Jangpura RWA’s plea alleging that the civic agency has failed to comply with the court’s earlier order to rebuild a wall around the area where a mosque built on government land was demolished recently.

Justice G.S. Sistani asked the agency why it has failed to rebuild the wall as per this court’s January 17 directions.
The court was hearing an application filed by Jangpura RWA that the DDA had failed to rebuild the wall at the site.
