Newlywed woman, 22, found dead

A 22-year-old woman, who had recently married a 24-year-old youth against the wishes of his family, was found dead under mysterious circumstances at her in-law’s house on Tuesday.

The deceased, identified as Anju, a resident of Patel Nagar, who was working at a beauty parlour, had married one Sunny Yadav, a resident of Aman Vihar, nearly one month ago, the police said.
Police sources said some family members of Sunny were against the marriage and they had even tried to stop it from taking place.
“On Tuesday, we got information at around 10.45 am that a woman was found lying unconscious at her residence. When a team of cops reached there, Anju’s mother-in-law told them that she was found unconscious in her room. The team rushed her to a nearby hospital where she was declared brought dead. A case of murder has been registered following the allegations by the family of the deceased woman,” said DCP (outer), Chhaya Sharma.
