No trace of cash van driver, guard
The company, which had hired the driver and gunner of the ATM cash van who escaped with more than `65 lakhs from GK-II on Friday, has announced a reward of `50,000 each on the two accused. The accused have been identified as Sanjeev (the driver) and Ram Kumar (security guard and gunner).
The police has, meanwhile, released the photos of the two accused. The company, Scientific Security Management, seems to be trying to hide its embarrassment as investigations revealed that the details of the driving licence and the fire arm licences given by the absconding suspects were fake.
“Since the addresses found in the records of the two men who fled with the cash van were fake, it has become difficult to trace them,” said the investigating officers.
Investigations have been hampered as there are no documents available on the personal and other details of the accused, said officials.
The police added that Sanjeev’s address of Mahipalpur and Ram’s address of Kotla Mubarakpur available with their employers were found to be fake.
The police suspects that the duo may have planned the incident in detail before executing it and is now questioning those known to them to trace the accused duo.
