Property dealer, 30, shot dead
A 30-year-old property dealer was shot dead late on Friday in north Delhi by four unidentified men riding motorcycles. Police officers said that the initial investigations in the case point out to a possibility of personal rivalry. The deceased has been identified as Zubair, a resident of Indira Enclave, north-Delhi.
The investigating officers confirmed that Zubair was shot from point-blank range in the Aman Vihar area of north Delhi. Officers revealed that Zubair, who worked as a property dealer, was walking home when he was shot.
“Zubair worked as a property dealer. He was walking towards home when four miscreants riding on two motorcycles waylaid him and shot him,” said the investigating officers, adding that they shot five rounds from point blank range and fled away.
Zubair was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead.
“Business or personal rivalry is suspected to be the cause of the murder,”. We hope to nab the culprits soon,” a senior police official said.
