The three suspects of Ashok Vihar honour killings, Mandeep, Ankit and Nikku, have been traced to a village in Rohtak, Haryana and the police is trying to nab them with the Delhi police commissioner announcing cash reward for information on their whereabouts. The call details of Mandeep and his two associates show that they were in

Rohtak on Tuesday evening. Sources said a police team was rushed and the suspects are likely to be nabbed soon. Police officials said Mandeep’s sister, Khushboo, who reportedly married one Ravi against the wishes of her family, lives in Rohtak and the trio might try to attack herl. “We have informed Khushboo and her husband and they have been asked to be alert. The Rohtak police has been informed,” a senior police official said.
The police also released photographs of the three prime suspects in the murder of Monika, Kuldeep and Shobha. Investigations have revealed that Mandeep had borrowed a white Hyundai i10 car with registration number DL8CF 3600 from one Gyaneshwar Sharma on Sunday. On Tuesday, Sharma approached the police and was questioned.
“On Monday evening, the trio had visited Ankit’s aunt in Tilkhua in Ghaziabad. When we reached there, the trio had escaped. Mandeep and Ankit are suspected of having killed the three but they have not contacted their families. We have announced Rs 50,000 cash reward each to anyone who shares information about their whereabouts,” the official said.
Meanwhile, Mandeep’s uncle Dharam Singh Naggar alleged that the police is trying to frame Mandeep and Ankit. “The police doesn’t have any evidence against Mandeep. It is trying to frame him. He is innocent,” Naggar, who was accompanied by Ankit’s brother, Nitin said. “But whosoever killed Monika and Shobha has saved our grace and honour. Whatever happened to our family happened for the good. No one is mourning the loss,” Ankit’s brother Nitin said.
