Student, 16, electrocuted in Naraina
A 16-year-old student was electrocuted near Sarvodaya Vidyalaya in southwest Delhi’s Naraina area on Tuesday.
The police said the incident took place on Tuesday at around 3.20 pm when the victim identified as Mukul, a Class 10 student of Sarvodaya school, was trying to scale the wall of his institute. The police said some welding work was being carried out at the school premises and a gate of the Sarvodaya School No 3 was probably connected to a live wire.
“Mukul tried to use this gate to scale the wall and got electrocuted. A PCR call was made by a pedestrian and the victim was taken to AIIMS trauma centre where doctors declared him brought dead. The victim had suffered five per cent burn injuries.
