Talwars’ plea hearing put off

The Supreme Court on Friday deferred the hearing of Rajesh and Nupur Talwar’s petition challenging the trial court’s order of initiating criminal proceedings against them in the twin murder case of their daughter Aarushi Talwar and domestic help Hemraj.

The Talwars had got relief from the apex court on March 19 when it stayed the trial court orders of initiating proceedings against the couple for allegedly killing their daughter and domestic help. On Friday, a bench headed by justice A.K. Ganguly adjourned the hearing of the case to a later date with the consent of the couple and the CBI.
