After having dinner, Navneet went to Manan’s room and found him hanging at around 1 am. The hostel management informed the police about the incident,”said a senior police officer. No suicide note was found at the spot.
However, the police has not ruled out the possibility of Manan taking the extreme step due to a failed love affair “We would question his parents once they reach here. NEW DELHI, SEPT. 5

A 60-year-old security guard was found murdered with his throat slit in his house in Gokalpuri, northeast Delhi. A senior police official said the deceased has been identified as Sompal, a resident of Brajpuri. “Sompal belonged to Baghpat, UP. He had been living on rent in the area for past several years. A relative of Sompal came to meet him on Thursday morning and found him lying in a pool of blood and the house ransacked. He then informed the police,” said a senior police official.

The official said a crime branch team visited the crime scene. “The motive behind the murder is not clear.
