Two realtors shot dead in Gurgaon
Two property dealers were shot dead in Gurgaon on Sunday night. The incident occurred in Rethoj village on Sunday night at 9.30 when the deceased Rajkumar and Dharmendra Tanwar were returning from the Damdama Lake.
“The deceased were in an Alto car and when they reached near Rethoj village, a Scorpio car intercepted them and four to five unknown assailants fired multiple rounds on them. The gunshots triggered panic in the village and people rushed to the spot. Rajkumar died on the spot and Dharmendra died in the hospital. The assailants managed to flee from the spot,” said a police officer.
He further added that the deceased Dharmendra was a property dealer and a number of criminal cases are lodged against him in the city.
The police said that it could be an incident of personal rivalry.
The deceased Dharmendra was also a suspect in a murder case of a dreaded criminal Dharmveer Ulahawas in 2007.
“We have registered a case under Section 302 of the IPC at the Bhondsi police station and are investigating the case,” said ACP, south, Tahir Hussain.
