Unclaimed bag raises bomb scare

An unclaimed bag found lying in a train created a scare at the Delhi University Metro station here on Sunday afternoon, hours before the opening ceremony of Commonwealth Games was to begin here.
Police officials said some passengers spotted an unclaimed bag lying in the last coach of a train on the Delhi University Metro Station.
The passengers feared that the bag may contain explosives and immediately alerted the security staff of Delhi Metro.
The driver of the train checked the bag and it was found containing some documents and the identity card of a person.
The security officials called up the man and the bag was handed over to him.
