Virender Sehwag’s uncle ‘kills himself’

A 71-year-old man allegedly committed suicide at his south west Delhi residence apparently after being depressed over his deteriorating health conditions, the police said on Friday.

The police officials said the deceased Bhagat Singh, who is reported to be uncle of cricketer Virender Sehwag, was found hanging from a ceiling fan inside his bedroom in the Naya Bazar area of Najafgarh two days ago by his family members.
The family brought down his body and alerted the police. Singh was suffering from multiple kidney disorder.
“His family members told us that one of his kidney was damaged while the other had stopped functioning. He was depressed over it and apparently committed suicide. However, no suicide note has been recovered,” the said.
