Water supply to get normal today: DJB

North and central Delhi reeled under water crisis on Wednesday as Delhi Jal Board (DJB) had to shut down Wazirabad and Chandrawal water treatment plants on Tuesday evening after ammonia content substantially jumped in raw water.

However, the plants were made functional on Wednesday evening after the ammonia level came down.
“Water supply in some areas will be at low pressure but it will return to normal by tomorrow morning,” DJB officials said.
