Woman, 20, found dead, in E. Delhi

A 20-year-old woman, who was depressed over her mother’s recent death committed suicide at her Seemapuri residence on Friday afternoon.
Police officials said the deceased, Rupa, a housewife, was found hanging from ceiling at her Dilshad Colony residence in Seemapuri by her husband, who made a police control room at around 12 pm. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital where doctors pronounced her dead.

The police said the victim was depressed following the death of her mother. Although no suicide note has been recovered from the deceased, the police is questioning her husband, a rickshaw-puller.
“No foul-play is suspected in the case. We are waiting for the post-mortem report,” a senior police official said.
The police informed the family members of the deceased and an SDM inquiry has been ordered into the matter.
