Woman, 24, raped in car in W. Delhi

A 24-year-old woman was allegedly raped in a car in Mianwali Nagar area of West Delhi, the police said on Monday.
A senior police official said that according to the victim, she was kidnapped by a man, who was in a car, from near the Udyog Vihar Metro Station and was dumped in Mangolpuri after being raped.

The police official said that they would examine the CCTV footage of the metro station to get a clue about the accused.
“The victim told the police that she went to her friend’s house in Mianwali Nagar area and when she was on her way back home in the evening she was kidnapped and raped,” said the police official.
The woman alleged that she was made to have liquor by the accused who raped her in the car. “The accused dumped her in Mangolpuri area at around 4 am after which the victim made a call to the PCR,” said the police official.
The police said that it has lodged an FIR under section of kidnapping and rape. Two persons were arrested in two separates cases of rape that were reported from Vasant Kunj area on Sunday.
In the first incident, a 14-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a 24-year-old man in a farmhouse in Vasant Kunj (South) area. The police said that they have arrested the accused identified as Raj Kumar in this connection. “The girl was raped when she was alone at the farmhouse. She narrated the incident to her father who approached the owner of the farmhouse,” said the police official.
In another incident a 21-year old woman was allegedly raped by her neighbour for over two months. The victim approached the police on Sunday and an FIR was registered on the basis of the statement given by the victim. The accused has been identified as Khem Chand. “He had been raping the girl for over two months. He threatened the victim with dire consequence if she revealed the incident to anyone,” said the police.
