Youth dies in bid to meet girlfriend

A student fell to death in west Delhi’s Paschim Vihar area while climbing up a sanitary pipe of a house to meet his girlfriend. The police said the deceased identified as Ankush Wadhwa fell at around 3 pm when the pipeline gave away. The police said Wadhwa hails from Punjab’s Moga and had come to meet his girlfriend who lives in the locality.

“He studies in a professional college in Rajpura, Punjab. He had come to meet the girl. We are questioning the girl and her family members,” the official said.
Wadhwa was climbing the pipeline from the backside of the building when the pipe broke and he fell down. He was rushed to Balaji Hospital where he was declared brought dead.
“So far, no foul play is suspected. It appears to be a case of accidental death,” the official said.
