Youth killed as car falls off bridge
A law student lost his life when his over-speeding car fell down from the Ashram flyover on Thursday morning. He was on way to Noida from Delhi.
Mrinal Deep Singh, a student of O.P. Jindal University in Sonepat, was killed when his speeding Honda City car fell 40 feet down to the ground after it jumped the railings of Delhi’s Lajpat Nagar flyover. Mrinal Deep Singh’s father worked as a general manager with Indraprastha Gas Limited. They lived in Noida. He had come to meet his friends at a pub in Nehru Place on Wednesday driving all the way from Sonepat. He was on his way back home to meet his parents at around 3:30 am on Thursday when the incident took place. According to the police, the car was running at a very high speed. It flew over the railings and fell from the Lajpat Nagar flyover which is about 40 feet below. Unfortunately, even the airbags could not save Mrinal.
