An all exclusive bikers’ corner

Enjoying your meals in the company of like-minded people is like icing on the cake. Understanding the same, Saurabh Mehra started the first bikers’ café in Delhi. A bike enthusiast himself, Saurabh kept neat pointers in mind while conceptualising the Revv Café in Greater Kailash I market.

“The idea behind Revv Café was to have a common meeting point for all motorcycle enthusiast. And the concept came up when a friend of mine and I had a bike trip to Rajasthan,” says Saurabh. He decided to have a dedicated place for motorcyclists where bikers could meet, share stories, catch up over a few beers and bite. “We have used many bike parts in the interior of the café to keep it close to the theme. Motorcycles dominates everything,” says Saurabh.
But a place is not complete without good food. “We wanted the menu to be simple but full of choices. We did not go for fancy names or over the top frills. Everything is plain and simple which all bikers enjoy,” adds Saurabh.
Revv Café has a spread of lofty burgers like Classic Meaty Burger, All American Mumbo Jumbo triple-decker burger and the Soya Protein Rosemary Burger. “Fiery Peri Pizza is a signature Revv,” says Saurabh. Also on offer are options like The All Day Breakfast Platter, Mezze Platter, Roast Lamb Chilli Pasta Arabiatta, Weight Watchers Steamer Ginger Fish.
“We also have bikers’ breakfast on Sundays and happy hours all time for bikers. We are also starting documentary screenings, motogp and F1 screening plus lot of events for biker groups,” ends Saurabh.

I want to begin with a little story that was told to me by a leading executive at Aptech. He was exercising in a gym with a lot of younger people.

Shekhar Kapur’s Bandit Queen didn’t make the cut. Neither did Shaji Karun’s Piravi, which bagged 31 international awards.
